CASIS-writing is a professional training program for elementary school teachers to help them increase their students' motivation to write.
 
The training program is part of a research project led by Mr. Frédéric Guay, Mr. Pierre Valois and Mr. Erick Falardeau, professors at the Faculty of Education of Laval University. The objective of the project is to assess the impact of CASIS training program on teaching practices and the motivation and success of students from 1^st to 6^th grade. 120 teachers from different backgrounds are currently involved in this project, which began in the fall of 2013.
